Payment Methods for Online Jobs

 Payment Methods for Online Jobs
Before venturing on any online job like becoming a writer, virtual assistant, researcher, software developer and the like, it is important for individuals to know several means on how to accept your payments online. Though there are a number of options available, still it is best to consider a mode of payment that best fits for you.

To some of my friends who are asking how I am getting paid, let me share with you some of the payment methods that I have tried and most preferred by most of the clients around the world as they are the safest and fastest way to transfer money online.

    Western union

Western Unionoffers a lot of services like paying bills online or getting money orders particularly for online workers since it can send money in over 200 countries around the world. Ask your employer if this means is convenient for him/her for smooth transactions either if you work full-time or part-time.

     PayPal

PayPal is used in most online jobs as means of payment because it’s convenient for both employers and virtual employees. If you still don’t have a PayPal account, just go to their website and follow the instructions on how to sign up easily. By the way, signing up from PayPal is cost-free and has high standards of protection to protect your account against any hackers.

    Xoom

It is an international money transfer service via online which can deliver money in most parts of the world. All you need to do is ask your employer if he/she can pay you with the use of Xoom service because there is no additional fees to the receiver unlike with PayPal which has a number of fees to keep in mind before you can transfer your money to your bank account.

This is the most preferred payment method. You can claim your money via BDO and Cebuana Lhullier.

    Odesk Payoneer Card

Odesk Payoneer Debit Card is one of the payment methods being used by Odesk to pay its freelancers. I have also tried using it long time ago (year 2008) but opted not to use anymore due to high fees especially for withdrawing funds through local ATM. Also, I am not active in Odesk anymore and my odesk card expired already lol.

Other mode of payments include MoneyGram, Authorize and 2Checkout. Check out these on the internet if these means of payment are acceptable for you. However, I suggest that you choose either PayPal or Xoom because these two actually work for me.
